A 2-day workshop by Seani Love and team hosted at AKA Studio in Melbourne
The BEAST is that most wild and primal part of our psyche that is suppressed (for good reason) into our subconscious mind. But no matter how much we suppress it, many of us still feel a calling to explore our inner BEAST, to understand it and to befriend it and to own it.
During this 2-day workshop we will move towards awakening the beast within us; learn how to feed it, have it witnessed, learn how to journey with it so that we become more powerful and more integrated beings.
The beast doesn’t pay attention to social rules and so of course we can’t all be in our beasts all day every day. But you’ll know that the Beast comes out anyway – in our feelings, our sexuality, the leaks of emotion that are often oppressed.
This workshop has been requested by people who know they have power within themselves but aren’t sure how to access it in safe and powerful ways. This is an interactive workshop and over the 2 days we will practice
- Knowing who the BEAST is for us
- Inner world journey to meet the beast
- Consent and boundaries
- Non-consensual beast activities (our own version of consensual non-consent)
- The Predator and Prey archetypes
- Vampiric feeding
This is a one-off event by Seani Love and team before Seani heads back to London.

Frequently Asked Questions
I’ve been asked several questions about this workshop and here I shall answer them:
What is neotantra?
I love this question a lot and it’s a big question and I’ll try to be succinct – Neotantra is that field of study where we attempt to learn about ourselves by understanding our biggest impulse – the drive towards sexuality. By consciously moving towards greater understanding of our sexuality, we become more self-aware, are able to love ourselves and the people around us more and we can better understand the patterns that pervade society. Also, sex is much better.
Traditional tantra from South-East Asia contains many elements only a few of which are sexual in nature. It’s fair to say that Neotantra is massively inspired by the erotic elements of South-East Asian Tantra but they are not the same thing.
Is this a tantra workshop?
In the broader sense of Tantra being a path towards wholeness and self-understanding, then yes it is but we will not be referring to most common tropes of Tantra and I don’t consider this specifically an Tantra workshop. If you are looking for a Tantra workshop, this is not the place to come.
Will there be sexual activities?
This is very explicitly an erotic workshop exploring sexuality and conscious kink as well as erotic archetypes most notably The Beast archetype. There are a number of exercies of a sexual nature in this workshop starting with consent and boundaries, and communication. No exercise during the workshop is compulsory and you may sit out any workshop that doesn’t feel right for you. If you are not comfortable in spaces where others are exploring their sexuality, this probably isn’t the right space for you. If you are driven to better understanding your own erotic nature, especially the wild parts, then this likely to be a great event for you.
What is Conscious Kink?
In our attempt to better understand our sexuality we deliberately bring more consciousness and awareness to every sexual and erotic act. This ranges from being open to accute levels of communication around consent and boundaries, learning how to really recognise what our bodies and minds enjoy, and generally using sexuality as both a tool and a vehicle for personal growth. So much of our sexuality is done with poor communication and little understanding. Conscious Kink is where we learn, grow, and heal.
Is there a couples price?
Yes there is. Our only restriction is we don’t sell couples tickets to pairs of straight men as this can upset the gender balance of the workshop. Couples can sign up here: https://square.link/u/KzmcNabf (signing up as a couple doesn’t oblige you to stay in your partnership for the whole weekend)
Do I need to come with my partner?
You do not need to come with your partner. At most of our events there are about 2-3 couples in attendance. Most people come unpartnered and find people to do exercises with in the space. In short you are welcome to bring your partner if you wish and you can do all exercise together. Partners can be of any gender.
Will we be matched with the opposite sex?
Sometimes we run hetero-paired workshops but this won’t be one of them. This means that in the space there may be people of different sexualities and genders looking for partners in different exercises. You may be partnered with a person of a gender you aren’t normally attracted to – even with these people and without attraction, there is potential for learning, growth and fun 🙂
What if I don’t like my BEAST?
A good question! The BEAST in this context is a part of yourself and most people have a part of themselves they don’t like. This question is going to bring up all kinds of things for people including: The shame of having wild desires; the times they didn’t check consent properly, their raw hunger being seen by others. The BEAST is a source of power because it is a part of you and the goal of all personal growth work is understanding and integrating different parts of ourselves. For many there is big embarrassment in being seen as a Wild Woman or “without morals” or “without social etiquette”. Likewise after the “metoo” movement, many men are afraid of accessing and expressing their wild untamed part. My theory is that the wild parts are always there and it’s much better and more powerful to bring them out consciously than to let them slip out unconsciously. This is why integrating the BEAST is essential work.
